The Teams

Each NFTeams franchise is a unique combination of characters (such as apes, bulls and alligators) and traits (such as hats, glasses and headbands). Every team produced is entirely unique, making it a true 1/1.

Although some are rarer and more head-turning than others, all teams have an equal chance of winning a tournament.

Tournaments

The first monthly tournament is a March Madness-style competition that runs across five weekly rounds and involves tipping on live sporting events. Each NFTeam is assigned a conference bracket with five other NFTeams on the first Friday of each month*. Choose correctly, survive 5 rounds and solidify your name in the NFTeams history books.

Prizes

Aside from the eternal glory, winners of the monthly tournaments will be showered in prizes from the community fund! Every month, the overall tournament winner will take home AUD $10,000. There are also other select prizes for trait-specific teams and those who draw sponsor teams in their brackets.

Bored Ape #2314

The first Bored Ape derivative team to win a tournament has the chance to kick off a tournament strictly for those 98 holders. Its winner will take home BAYC #2314.

Every team needs a jersey, and all 10,000 teams now have access to their free jersey drop.

Influenced by major sport jerseys, each NFTeams jersey is meticulously crafted all the way down to the fabric weaves. These are meant to be rocked in the metaverse and IRL.

In The Gates

We are out of the gates and the OG Mint passes have been sent out. New passes are now up for grabs and we are dropping news and prizes. Wait until you hear what we have planned.

Half-Time

400 ETH is now in the community fund. That's right, 100% of the ETH taken in up until now goes directly back to the community. The team only gets paid if we can sell out the next 50% of teams.

4th Quarter

Rounding the final corner and onto the home stretch. We start working with the best in the business to design some kickarse Merch that only you can buy. Sporting a NFTeams Jersey in the real world will only be for the chosen few.

Final Whistle

The final whistle has blown and "WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS". Now the real work starts. We hire our new team and get to work on Phase 2.

Team

Unlike most projects, we are not hiding behind fake names. We are hiding behind avatars though, cause we are all pretty ugly.

Steve

Steve has merged his love of sports, NFT's and punting into one project. Steve is the GM of NFTeams.

Mat

Mat is the resident Nerd. Our CTO and the guy who makes sure everything is working in the backroom.

Alan

Alan is passionate about sports and project management. He is our all-arounder and focuses on community needs.

Joel

Joel jumped (not literally, as the old ankles don't allow that) at the chance to get involved with designing for NFTeams. Shoutout Kevy!

Henry

Henry is our utility dev, doing whatever is needed around the stadium to keep the nfteams tech moving forward.

Mod Squad

Our assistant coaches (mods) make sure no one gets out of line on our Discord server: Stanysurfer, gk80, Dr Oz, and tbar.

NFTeams is a collection of 10,000 unique sports teams that live on the Ethereum blockchain as an NFT. All 10,000 teams will compete every month in a March Madness style tournament while betting on real life sporting events. The winner of the monthly tournaments and others who make it far will be eligible for prizes.
You can buy an NFTeams on secondary markets like OpenSea or LooksRare. In order to do this, you will need a crypto wallet with Ethereum loaded into it.
Go to nfteams.club, connect your wallet and go the sports bar (top right section of the website menu). Select the tournaments tab and all eligible teams will have a green button below in order to enter. Place your bets accordingly – all franchise owners are responsible of knowing when games (picks) are starting!
Each team has been assigned levels for offense, defense, luck, and skill. As of now, there has been NO official utility announced for these levels other than that they will come into play in a future game. People purchasing teams with high levels is only speculation at this point.

NFTeam names can be changed but only during certain time periods, although certain conditions apply (no swear words, brand names, etc.).
You have full commercial rights to your team and can do whatever you like if you own the NFT. You can create and sell merchandise, create derivatives and you can even buy a real-life sports team and use the logo. The only thing you don't have the rights to is the NFTeams branding and logo. Some teams will have an NFTeams logo on their hat or shirt and you may only use our logo if it is attached to a team.
